OUR CHARACTERS

LITTLE

LITTLE is a shy 6-year old tomboy.

She spends her days daydreaming. She does not speak.

Little’s favorite go-to activities are reading, hanging out with her BFF Dandelion and studying the world through

a Schylling Tin Kaleidoscope.

And chocolate ice cream! She LOVES chocolate ice cream!

Like all dreamers, Little has a secret:

At night, she is transported to the Fantasy Forest, a magical but dark place where she must fight a spider-like Monster.

DANDELION

DANDELION is Little's BFF who dons a halo of untamed golden curls. Hence, the name!

At his mature age of 8 years old,

Dandelion has already made up his mind about the world and he confidently shares those opinions at school.

For that, he's frequently reprimanded by Hope,

a school counselor with whom Dandelion is not-so-secretly

in love.

When Little starts showing up to school with bruises and

a fractured arm, Dandelion is the first to suspect

that something is afoot.

HOPE

HOPE is a school counselor at Little’s school

(and Dandelion’s love crush). She is kind, gentle and patient.

A mother figure to our two nerds.

In Hope’s world – life is in bright color! Her office space

are painted purple. Reproductions of art decorate the walls: Gustav Klimt’s HOPE, Alma Thomas’s THE ECLIPSE, Henry O. Tanner’s ANNUNCIATION, Frida Kahlo’s VIVA LA VIDA.

When Little shows up to school with injuries,

Hope inquires about her home life.
